Got Noise? has had numerous conversations and meetings with officials at the Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) and our state and local representatives. The following pages outline what the state, particularly ConnDOT, has to say about the I-95 sound pollution issue, followed by our comments on the state's response.
We have summarized what the state has to say about three specific issues:
- Why Parts of Southwestern Conn. Have No Sound Barriers -- The State's explanation for why parts of Southwestern Connecticut, including Westport, Norwalk, Fairfield and Darien, do not have sound barriers.
